Can’t resist chocolate? Then you won’t be able to resist the Radovlija Chocolate Festival either! 

 

Running since 2012, the Radovljica Chocolate Festival one of the most important chocolate festivals in Slovenia and is a great opportunity for chocolate lovers to indulge in their passion and discover new flavors and techniques. The annual event is held in the town of Radovljica in April and is dedicated to celebrating chocolate and the art of chocolate making, with a focus on promoting local chocolatiers and their products. During the festival, you can enjoy tastings, workshops, demonstrations, and competitions. There are also stalls selling various chocolate products, from bars and truffles to cakes and hot chocolate drinks. 

 

The festival site will be fenced. Entry is possible with a daily festival ticket. 
Free admission for children under 18 years of age.



About the area: Radovljica is a town in northwestern Slovenia, located in the Upper Carniola region. The town is known for its well-preserved medieval old town, which is located on a hill overlooking the Sava River. The old town features several historic buildings, including the 18th-century Mansion House, which houses the Museum of Apiculture, and the Gothic-style Church of St. Peter. 

 

Radovljica is also known for its culinary traditions, particularly its honey and gingerbread. In addition, Radovljica is a popular destination for outdoor activities, including hiking, cycling, and skiing. The nearby Julian Alps and Triglav National Park offer a wide range of opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts.
