The centre with the Ponte Vecchio and Piazza Santo Spirito are about a 20-minute drive from here along with the better-known sites, of the Uffizi gallery, the Duomo, Piazza della Repubblica. For some peace then guests should head to the Boboli Gardens, behind the Pitti Palace (a 25-minute drive) where you can spend an afternoon admiring the fountains and statues.
