The town of Augusta (15 minutes) is a popular holiday destination. It has a rich history with many impressive Baroque buildings hidden away in its winding streets and a weekly market (every Thursday) where you can pick up the best and freshest local ingredients. Its beautiful beaches are well-known in the region.
The city of Catania is 30 minutes away. It makes a fascinating day out. There are many historic sites from a Roman amphitheatre to the Norman cathedral and Baroque palaces. The city is also famous for its delicious food, with many local restaurants serving Sicilian specialities and wonderful seafood. Unique to Catania are the “cioscu”, little kiosks all over the city serving refreshments in the hot summer months.
Catania’s International Airport is just a 30-minute drive from the apartment.

Great location of the apartment, beatiful sandy beach, suitable for kids was 50 meters away. Easy access to Etna, Taormina nad other landmarks. Wonderful hosts, very freindly and happy to help. Comfortable apartment with air condition.Response:
