This apartment is ideally located for exploring Nice on foot. Almost all the main tourist attractions, including Place Massena with the famous Fountain of the Sun, the Palais Lascaris Museum and the Albert I Garden are just 15 minutes away by tram. The tram stop is just below the building, so no need to take the car to get around. For a day on the beach, it is only 20 minutes to the beautiful Promenade des Anglais and its beaches. Art lovers will find the Marc Chagall Museum and the Henri Matisse Museum a 10-15 minute drive or a 25-minute walk. Many shops, restaurants and cafés also available close by in the Gallérie Marchande Du Ray. For an authentic Niçoise market, check out the Marché Cours Saleya (25 minutes by tram) where you will find the freshest, best local produce to cook at home. On Mondays the market becomes a flea market. Day trips to other famous towns along the French Riviera; Monaco, Cannes, Saint-Tropez and Antibes are easy to arrange.
