For the best local produce, head to the covered market, Le Marché des Halles, on Quai de Monleon (14-minute walk along the seafront). Every day of the week you can find the finest regional food including cheese, fish, charcuterie etc.
The apartment is just a 15-minute walk from the Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets and historic architecture. The Baroque Basilica of St Michel towers over the buildings which slope down to the Old Port (20-minute walk). Here you will find some of the world’s most expensive yachts.
