On the first and second floors, the apartment’s décor includes pine walls and stone features. The open-plan living area, which is furnished with a sofa, armchair, flat-screen TV and wood-burning stove, has French windows leading out to the private wooden balcony. The balcony has panoramic views of the mountains. There is a table and chairs for meals al fresco. Back indoors the kitchen/dining area has a large window which also looks out over the forests and slopes. The wooden table, which seats 6, is next to the open-plan kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, fridge and freezer.
Wooden stairs lead up to two bedrooms.

Location
The apartment is in the village of La Vormaine, close to the popular resort of Argentière, near the ski lifts, shuttle buses and pistes. For beginners, the slopes at La Vormaine are just a 3-minute walk. For more experienced skiers the Tour Col de Balme slopes are also close by. Some of the higher slopes around Argentière offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May.
During the summer months, the valley is packed with activities from hiking and mountain biking to mountaineering, horse riding, white-water rafting, paragliding, tennis and golf.
Argentière (5 minutes drive) has many of the amenities that visitors need, including restaurants and a supermarket. The weekly market, where you can find the very best local ingredients, takes place every Sunday morning.
All the facilities of the Mont Blanc valley are on your doorstep. There are free train services on the Mont Blanc Express from Montroc le Planet station (3 minute drive), so visitors can explore the whole Mont Blanc valley.
Geneva airport is a 1 hour 30 minute drive from the apartment.
