The apartment is on the eastern side of Menton, just 6 minutes from the Italian border. Its location ensures that guests can get the very best from la Belle France and enjoy Italy’s Dolce Vita! Menton has been a popular resort town for over 100 years and is known for its temperate climate, exotic gardens, beautiful beaches and the Medieval Old Town. It offers a tempting mix of history, culture, fine cuisine and pure relaxation all year round. The Plage des Sablettes beach is less than 10-minutes walk from the apartment. There is also a dog-friendly beach 8 minutes away by car.
For self-catering, the best local produce is to be found in the covered market, Le Marché des Halles, on Quai de Monleon (6 minutes drive, 15 minute walk). Every day of the week you can find the finest regional food including cheese, fish, charcuterie etc. Alternatively, there is a supermarket just 5 minutes drive away.
The apartment is just a 15-minute walk from the Old Town with its narrow cobbled streets and historic architecture. The Baroque Basilica of St Michel towers over the buildings which slope down to the Old Port (20-minute walk). Here you will find some of the world’s most expensive yachts.
