The interior has been thoughtfully decorated and the main living space is arranged within several interconnecting chambers, each with curved limestone archways and high arched ceilings. Guests can choose from two living rooms, a quiet space with two 3-seater sofas and a log fireplace or a TV snug with a large L-shaped sofa and a smart flatscreen satellite TV. The modern, kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, an oven, a microwave, a coffee machine, a dishwasher, a fridge freezer and a large island surrounded by a breakfast bar. This space also incorporates a dining room which leads out to the pool area. Floor-to-ceiling rear windows frame the sun terrace, pool area, fountain and surrounding gardens. The second floor is accessed via a spiral staircase and enjoys a terrace with views of the surrounding countryside. Ramla, one of the island’s best beaches is a 6-minute drive and Marsalforn Bay is a 10-minute drive, while the valleys of Ramla, Ta’ l-Għejjun and Marsalforn are all less than a 10-minute drive from the accommodation. Other nearby excursions include the ancient Ġgantija Temples, Ninu's Caves (both a 10-minute walk) and Xerri's Grotto (a 15-minute walk). Guests will find a bus stop a 5-minute walk away. The centre of Xagħra boasts a wide selection of restaurants, bars and a supermarket all of which are less than a 10-minute walk from the accommodation. Malta's typical Mediterranean climate is sunny with average daily sunshine of five to six hours in mid-winter and twelve hours in summer, with over 300 days of sunshine and warm weather a year. Summers are hot, dry and very sunny. Its remarkably mild winters and intense blue skies make it an ideal place for long walks in the countryside. The closest international airport is Malta Airport (MLA), approximately a 1 hour 30-minute journey which includes a ferry crossing from the accommodation in Gozo to Cirkewwa, Malta. The ferry passes by Comino, the 3rd Island forming part of the Maltese Archipelago, known for its caves and turquoise water.
