The apartment is part of a small complex, Les Maisonettes, nestled between the rocks and Mediterranean maquis, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. It is an idyllic spot for a seaside holiday for family or friends.
The villa is beautifully appointed and the owners have taken every care to ensure that guests are as comfortable as possible. Access from the car park below the villa is via the attractive terrace and shaded veranda, which enjoys stunning sea views. The terrace is furnished with chairs and a small table so guests can soak up the sun and quiet surroundings. The shaded area has a large banquette sofa, plus a dining table and chairs for meals al fresco.
Indoors, via a sliding glass door, there is an airy, open-plan living area. Here guests will find a corner sofa, with another dining table for 4 people. The new, fitted kitchen is separated from the main room by a half-wall partition. It is very well-appointed with an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and fridge/freezer.

Bedroom 1: The lovely master bedroom has a double bed, a wardrobe and French windows leading out to the terrace. There is also an en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 2: The airy second bedroom has two single beds and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room can be converted into a double bed or 2 single beds.

Location
The villa enjoys a spectacular setting in the renowned resort of Porto Rafael. The town was founded by the Spanish Count Rafael Neville de Berlanga y del Duero in the 1960’s and has maintained its aura of quiet luxury ever since. A two-minute walk from the villa takes you to the Count’s Square, with its shops and smart boutiques, and to the Spiaggia di Cala Inglesi which is a small bay with clear waters, ideal for snorkelling and scuba diving. The Yacht Club is just next door and there you can enjoy the beautiful sunsets over the sea. At the Marina di Porto Rafael, you can hire sailing boats as well as paddle boards, kayaks and canoes.
Down the coast is the port of Palau (10 minutes). From here you can take a ferry to the gorgeous Maddalena Archipelago. These unspoiled islands (there are 3 main ones to explore) offer breathtaking snorkelling and pristine beaches. They make the perfect day out.
Back in Palau, visitors can enjoy the lively night market which takes place every evening during the summer months. The town has many excellent restaurants to suit all budgets as well as a vibrant nightlife.
For self-catering, Palau is the place to go as it has supermarkets, as well as a fruit and vegetable market for the freshest local produce.
Olbia Airport is a 1 hour and 5-minute drive from the apartment.
