The two flats are not communicating with each other, they are both on the ground floor separated only by a few steps where you will find their reserved areas equipped for outdoor dining. The first flat is accessed by two low steps leading into a large open-plan area divided by a step into a living room area with open fireplace and satellite TV and a beautiful kitchen-diner. The living room leads to a lovely covered terrace equipped for pleasant al fresco dining. Convenient steps lead to the barbecue and swimming pool. The flat is tastefully furnished in the Tuscan tradition and offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The property is situated on the crest of a hill overlooking Valdera on the border of the provinces of Siena and Florence, and is well suited as a base camp for visiting the cities of art, the Romanesque parish churches located along the historic Via Francigena and the medieval castles in the surrounding area. About 5 km away, in the centre of Gambassi Terme, there is a thermal centre where you can drink natural spring water, rich in numerous purifying properties, and relax in the wellness centre. Around Catignano there are many white roads and paths, to be travelled on foot, on horseback or by mountain bike. For golf lovers, there is a well-equipped centre in Castelfalfi, about 18 km away. Wine shop and tasting of typical dishes about 5 km away.
