The lovely apartment on the lakeshore overlooks the mountains and is located in a peaceful locality. It is within walking distance from the beach, bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets. One of the most popular attractions of the region, Swissminiatur- an open-air museum with a miniature version of famous buildings and landmarks of Switzerland, is only 3 minutes' drive from here. Lido di Melide (2 minutes) offers a well-rounded family fun time with an amusement aquatic park, children’s pool, multi-sports fields and a lounge and a bar. For a stunning view of the lake and the landscape, it is recommended to take the hiking routes on Monte San Salvatore (4 minutes) or the funicular rail to the summit. One could also drive to Lugano and explore the town and its attractions like San Lorenzo Cathedral (14 minutes), Monte Bre trails and a number of museums, libraries and parks. Another attraction worth visiting is the Alprose Chocolate Museum which is only 35 minutes from the apartment by car.
