Inside ... the two-storey villa for 8 guests, there is a charming and spacious living room with a characteristic original fireplace, a dining table, a SAT-TV with a DVD player, a stereo and a dedicated sitting area. The rustic kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances while also being true to its antique architecture which contributes to a unique experience. There is a dishwasher, 5 burners, a coffee machine, a freezer and a toaster among other amenities. There is an open internal staircase and an external staircase to connect the two floors.

Location
To reach the holiday villa, guests need to drive 2 kilometers on an unpaved road (in good condition) and then a steep little road. The villa is located in Southern Tuscany and is only a short distance from the borders of Umbria and Lazio. Guests are treated to absolute quietness and tranquility during their stay here.
The supermarket from here is 8 minutes’ drive and so is the nearest restaurant. Guests can enjoy thermal baths at San Casciano dei Bagni (16 minutes). The landscape of Val d’Orcia is representative of what Tuscany represents to many: medieval castles, ancient villages, olive groves, vineyards and harmony that is spread for miles and miles all around. It has a rich culinary history that combines tradition with local ingredients. Some of the must-try items are cheeses, olive oil, wine, chestnuts, truffles, games, saffron and mushroom.
Only 22 minutes from here by car is Radicofani which has the most spectacular fortress in all of Tuscany, a Romanesque church and a beautiful Medici villa. Lake Bolsena (47 minutes), one of the most beautiful Italian lakes, Centona (32 minutes) and the historical cities of Pienza (48 minutes), Montepulciano (54 minutes), Orvieto (56 minutes), Siena (1.5 hours), Florence (2 hours) and Rome (2 hours) are worthy places to visit on day trips from the villa.
