A cosy apartment, with stunning, uninterrupted mountain views. On the 3rd floor of a charming, chalet-style residence, this apartment sleeps 5 people over 2 floors. The apartment is built in a traditional style, with a private wooden balcony leading off the living room. The open kitchen, at the side of the living room, also has French windows leading onto the balcony and is fully equipped with an induction hob, microwave, fridge, coffee machine and raclette. The attractive wooden living area has a table that seats 5 people, a comfortable sofa, with a flat-screen Smart TV. The sofa pulls out to transform into a large double bed. Additional • Flat-screen TV • Private balcony • Free Wifi • Hairdryer • Smoke detector • Ski storage Location Centrally located, towards the end of a quiet side street, next to the Lac des Chavants, Les Dryades is close to the Prarion ski lift, shuttle buses and the centre of Les Houches. There is public parking nearby and it is recommended that you bring a car for your stay. Les Houches has much to offer in terms of après-ski activities, including an outdoor ice-skating rink, indoor rock climbing and a separate sledging area for children. The village is home to some excellent restaurants and bars, plus many other activities throughout the year. Chamonix itself is just a 15-minute drive away or a free train ride on the Mont Blanc Express. In the summer months, Chamonix golf club is a 20-minute drive and there are tennis courts right on the doorstep. The apartment overlooks the charming Lac des Chavants which has extensive walking and cycling paths, fishing, a rock-climbing area and an adventure playground. Other options include horse-riding, white water rafting and the treetop adventure park only a 10-minute drive away. Geneva airport is a 65-minute drive.  Show more
