The spacious ground-floor apartment enjoys a living room with a comfortable seating area, a kitchen with a dining area, its own infrared sauna and a fitness room. The upper apartment enjoys a spacious living room with a separate kitchen and a dining area. Both properties are also fitted with a flat-screen HD digital TV with satellite channels. Each kitchen is fitted with an induction hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher and a fridge freezer.
Outside guests can enjoy a small terrace furnishe... d with two sun loungers and a bistro table with two chairs, the ideal place to relax with a good book or enjoy an alfresco meal. There is also an outside dining area for twelve. Guests can pick seasonal vegetables and fruit for free from the garden and children will enjoy the outdoor paddling pool, swing set and climbing frame. There are also four bicycles, all available free of charge, to explore the surrounding area. In the summer guests can enjoy swimming in the nearby man-made lakes, where the water temperature reaches 24 degrees Celsius.

Situated in the Lower Savinja Valley the area around the property is characterised by rolling green hills and the Savinja River flows nearby. The surrounding hills and countryside provide opportunities for hiking and exploring nature. There are many hiking trails nearby that lead to vantage points offering panoramic views of the valley.
Within walking distance, guests will find a recreation center with a sports field and a large, fenced children's playground. There is also an Eco Spa and Wellness centre within a 2-minute walk together with an adrenalin fun park with a 300 m zip line, a climbing wall, paddle boarding, rafting, kayaking, canyoning on the river, fishing and mountain biking. Spa Snovik (a 50-minute drive) is perfect for families with indoor and outdoor pools, waterslides, a spa and an informal restaurant.
In the Winter months, visitors can enjoy the Golte Ski Resort which is only a 30-minute drive away and offers opportunities for alpine skiing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and sledging. Žovnek Castle one of Slovenia’s oldest castles is also a short 30-minute drive from the accommodation.

Make a Booking
To make a confirmed booking, you will be asked to fill in our online booking form and pay a 30% deposit by wire transfer or credit card. The remaining balance will then be due 6 weeks before arrival.

The property was very comfortable and spacious. There was lots of patio space and a nice lawn/garden with views to the mountains on one side and trees next to the campsite on the other. The pool water was quite cold even in August so we did not use as much as we would if it was a little warmer. It felt very safe and welcoming. It was easy to get to the supermarket up in Recibe and Ales, the owner greeted us and was very friendly.
We called ahead to Happy Rental in Slovenia 4 days after severe flooding hit Slovenia to check that our journey to the property would be possible and we would still be able to enjoy advertised activities (we went for the activities more than for the house). Elena, from Happy Rentals was very helpful and checked with the local team who gave assurance that the journey would be fine and apart from 3 areas in the region that were inaccessible, all other activities would be possible. This proved to be inaccurate, roads were damaged and we had damage to our rental car and none of the activities advertised on the property listing were possible - the campsite next door was severely damaged and closed. We of course were sad about the flooding but Happy Rentals was not honest with us. There att... itude was that we should have known about the situation and we came so should have accepted it, I quote, " you called because you knew of the floods, so you were aware that it was not going to be a “normal” stay."
I found this lack of even an apology or sympathy for our damaged car (they never addressed this in emails) or lack of activities astonishing for a company called Happy Rentals who must pride themselves on good customer service/relations.
I would however, like to commend Elena for how she supported us. Other members of the team were not so supportive.
