Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the villa. Large French windows lead out onto a sun-soaked private terrace and a large swimming pool with an in-built Jacuzzi. It is located close to the popular sandy beach of Ramla, reached by a short car ride, or for the more active a 30-minute walk away. Overlooking Ramla Bay is the Calypso’s cave, the supposed home of Homer’s Calypso. Xaghra has good road and public transport links to Victoria (Rabat) and Mgarr Harbour and Gozo ferry terminal, with frequent ferries for the 25 min crossing to Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal on Malta with accessible public transport and highway connections to the international airport. The island can be easily travelled by car and public transport. Historical tours, treks and water sports can be conveniently booked and reached anywhere on the island. Victoria the capital of Gozo is a convenient 10-minute car journey, here you’ll find many bars and restaurants as well as the famous Citadel. Victoria has many museums and tours dedicated to the history of Gozo and Malta. Mgarr Harbour is 15mins away by car, home to the ferry terminal, with frequent ferries for the 25 min crossing to Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal on Malta with accessible public transport and highway connections to the international airport. The typical Mediterranean climate of Malta is sunny climate with a daily average of five to six hours of sunshine in midwinter and 12 hours in summer. The Summers are hot, dry, and very sunny.
