It is an ideal space to relax with friends or family. The fully-equipped, sleek, modern, kitchen has everything you might need for your stay: an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine. Location The apartment is situated in the middle of Lugano, just a 5-minute walk from the lakeside and 8 minutes from the central square, the Piazza della Riforma. The city of Lugano is famous for its stunning location, rich cultural heritage and excellent restaurants and cafés. The city hosts many festivals throughout the year, including the “Luganomusica” festival every summer. MASI (the Museum of Art Of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is a walk along Lugano’s famous waterfront, with breathtaking views over the lake. For inspiration, for guests who want to self-cater, head to the farmers’ market (Tuesdays and Fridays) in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk). It is the ideal place to go to pick up the best local ingredients. The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 12-minute walk from the apartment.
