The bright living room has a large window and a glass door, leading onto a balcony overlooking the street. The balcony has a table and chairs, for guests to relax and enjoy a cup of coffee al fresco. In the living room, there is a large sofa (which converts into a double bed), a Smart TV and a contemporary dining table with 6 chairs. There is plenty of space for people to relax with friends or work in comfort. The immaculate, modern kitchen has everything you might need for your stay: an induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and a Nespresso machine. A large glass door leads out onto another balcony. Sleeping Bedroom 1: The bright master bedroom has a comfortable double bed and spacious storage. Bedroom 2: An airy bedroom which has 2 Single beds, a large fitted wardrobe and drawers and an en suite bathroom. Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed. Location Lugano is famous for its stunning location, nestling between the beautiful Lago Lugano and the foothills of the Alps. On the borders of Switzerland and Italy, it has a rich cultural heritage of which it is justifiably proud. MASI (the Museum of Art Of Italian Switzerland) hosts regular contemporary art exhibitions. There are many festivals throughout the year, including “Luganomusica” every summer. The apartment is in a quiet, but extremely central part of Lugano. The lakeside, with its famous promenade, is just a 5-minute walk away. A day trip on the Lago di Lugano, sailing between Switzerland and Italy is a must, as is an aperitivo in the city’s main square, Piazza della Repubblica (8 minutes walk). The piazza is lined with many excellent cafés and restaurants. For guests who want to self-cater, the farmers’ market (Tuesdays and Fridays) in Via Carducci (5 minutes walk) is the place to go to pick up the best local ingredients. The closest international airports are in Italy - Milan Malpensa 1 hour and 10 minutes away by car, or Milan Linate, a 1 hour and 20-minute journey. Arriving by train? Lugano’s railway station is a 12-minute walk from the apartment.
