Location
The apartment is in the centre of the resort of Sestriere, close to the ski lifts and shuttle bus. In the winter months, the slopes suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing.
Summer visitors can choose from numerous tracks for mountain biking, as well as tennis, rafting, golf, horse riding and swimming. The activity centre, Luna Park, close to the apartment, offers stunt biking, skateboarding, roller skating and much more. For something more relaxing, try Le Sorgenti del Mendia spa (a 15-minute drive) in Pragelato.
The area also holds many festivals and events for all ages throughout the year, including environmental initiatives and cultural evenings. There is a wide variety of restaurants and bars in Sestriere, to suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere has supermarkets and smaller shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is a 1 hour and 25 minutes drive from the complex.
