Location
Vallorcine is set in spectacular mountain scenery and the slopes around the village are suitable for skiers of all levels. The apartment is a short walk from the ski lifts and the ski slopes. For a gentler alternative, there are 10km of cross-country skiing trails, which will suit beginners and experts alike.
During the summer months, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing, tennis, golf and horse riding. All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Vallorcine railway station is just a 2-minute walk from the residence.
The Swiss border is a four-minute drive from the village, and a minute beyond that is the Parc Vallée du Trient, with its breathtaking views and treks. The famous Montreux jazz festival, on the shores of Lake Geneva, takes place in early July and is just 1 hour away.
Vallorcine has several restaurants and cafés which cater to various ages and budgets. For self-catering, there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (10 minutes drive). Geneva airport is a 1-hour 30-minute drive away.Show more

C'est la deuxième fois qu'on passe un séjour agréable dans cette résidence. Je pense qu'il serait mieux de pouvoir quitter les lieux à 11h au lieu de 10h pour avoir moins de stress le matin...
