Location
The residence is in the centre of the village of Vallorcine, set in the spectacular mountain scenery. It is a very short walk to the ski lifts and the ski slopes. The slopes around Vallorcine are suitable for skiers of all levels. There is also 10km of cross-country skiing trails, which will suit beginners and experts alike.
All the facilities of the Chamonix region are on your doorstep, as Vallorcine railway station is just a 2-minute walk from the residence. The Swiss border is a four-minute drive from the residence, and a minute beyond that is the Parc Vallée du Trient, with its breathtaking views and treks. The famous Montreux jazz festival on the shores of Lake Geneva takes place in early July and is just 1 hour away.
During the summer season, the valley is full of fun activities: stunning mountain trails for hiking or mountain biking, climbing and horse riding. The area is famous for its flora and fauna, particularly the butterflies in the flower-filled alpine meadows. The village of Vallorcine has several restaurants and cafés which cater to various ages and budgets. For self-catering, there is a weekly market (every Sunday morning) in Argentière (10 minutes drive)

Ease of access due to one of our party with disability. Clean and welcoming. Only downside was that the toilet smelled of urine. But overall the apartment was spacious and warm. Plenty of towels and blankets and the beds were comfortable. Staff weren't available face to face bu were easily contacted via the Whatsapp number. Check out was easy with the simple key drop. This was our second stay and we shall definitely be returning in the future.

El apartamento es muy agradable y está muy limpio y cuidado; el edificio cuenta con piscina cubierta y sauna que convierte la vuelta a casa tras una caminata en algo relajante y reparador; si bien Vallorcine es una localidad pequeña con apenas comercios, el edificio de los apartamentos cuenta con panadería y al lado hay un ultramarinos; se facilitan a la llegada unos tickets para el tren de cercanías durante la estancia que facilita enormemente los desplazamientos. Además el alojamiento cuenta con parking cubierto. Es sin duda una buena opción: Repetiremos
