On a sunny hillside, overlooking the River Arve, the house has extensive mountain views. It comfortably sleeps 8 people and there is plenty of space for everyone. The main living area is full of light, thanks to a large glass door which leads out onto a traditional-style wooden balcony, looking down the valley. The living room has a sofa, enclosed wood-burning stove, coffee table and armchair. The wooden dining table seats 8 and is close to the semi-open kitchen. The kitchen is well-equipped with a cooker hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge.
There is a second sitting area on the top floor with a corner sofa and flat-screen TV.

Bedroom 1: The master bedroom, on the top floor, has a double bed and wardrobe.

Location
The property is in the village of Les Frasserands, close to the popular resort of Argentière, near the ski lifts, shuttle buses and pistes. For beginners, the slopes at La Vormaine are just a 3-minute drive. For more experienced skiers the Tour Col de Balme slopes are also close by. Some of the higher slopes around Argentière offer skiing later in the season, sometimes right up to early May. During the summer months, the valley is packed with activities from hiking and mountain biking to mountaineering, horse riding, white-water rafting, paragliding, tennis and golf.
Argentière (4 minute drive) has many of the amenities that visitors need, including restaurants and a supermarket. The weekly market, where you can find the very best local ingredients, takes place every Sunday morning. All the facilities of the Mont Blanc valley are on your doorstep. There are free train services on the Mont Blanc Express from Montroc le Planet station (a 2-minute walk), so visitors can explore the whole Mont Blanc valley. Geneva airport is a 1-hour and 20-minute drive from the house.
