Situated in the most idyllic rural location, this tranquil apartment for four provides a total escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
The property is quietly situated on the first floor of a newly renovated building on a working farm and offers guests the experience of another life, harvesting crops and tending a vineyard and an olive grove. In the evening, by prior arrangement, guests can enjoy a home-cooked meal on the terrace with a view of the olive groves and try local dishes made from homegrown ingredients. Visitors can also shop for vegetables, meat, jam, fruit and wild asparagus to cook themselves.
In the garden, there is a shared brick grill for baking dishes, an outdoor dining space, a paved garden amongst the olive trees and a playground for children including a swing, climbing frame and basketball hoops. There is even a selection of domestic animals to make friends with including; chickens, donkeys, ponies and rabbits. Beyond the garden guests also have access to a meadow where they can peacefully relax on a lounger, read a book or play a game with family members.
Inside, the bright and airy apartment enjoys one large open-plan living space with access to a small balcony complete with a table and chairs. Here guests can enjoy the incredible views of the surrounding area - the ideal spot for a morning coffee or a glass of wine whilst watching the sunset. The living space incorporates a small kitchen, a sleeping area and is furnished with a double bed, a sofa bed and a digital TV. The kitchen is equipped with; a cooker hob, a microwave, an oven and a fridge freezer.
The homestead offers an excellent starting point for walks in unspoilt nature and the host will take guests in an old military vehicle (by prior agreement) through the wild valley of the Dragonja river, for a refreshing dip in the water.

The property is located in the Istrian village of Puce in the southwest of Slovenia an area known for its water springs, friendly people, cycling paths and hiking trails that weave their way between the olive groves and vineyards.
The region offers many natural and cultural attractions. Visitors can enjoy visiting one of the numerous nearby wineries including Posestvo Santomas (a 10-minute drive) and the Kozlović Winery (a 45-minute drive) across the border in Croatia.
In the summer months guests can head to the coast, Portorož beach is a 29-minute drive away and Koper, Slovenia’s largest port a 24-minute drive, here visitors can explore the narrow medieval streets and historic squares of the charming Old Town and admire well-preserved Venetian-style architecture.
Other nearby excursions include a visit to the Krajinski park sečoveljske soline (a 24-minute drive), a popular destination for birdwatchers. This natural park is known for its salt pans and traditional salt production techniques which have been in operation for over 700 years. The Škocjan Caves (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) are a 41-minute drive away and feature impressive underground formations and subterranean river canyons.
The closest international airport to the accommodation is in Italy, Aeroporto di Trieste-Friuli Venezia Giulia (TRS) a one-hour 6-minute drive away.
