The gardens of the Villa della Pergola are worth a visit, as is the Muretto di Alassio which is tiled with the signatures of many famous visitors, including Ernest Hemingway and Jean Cocteau. For self-catering the weekly market (Saturday) is a treasure trove of local produce, which you can then enjoy back home. Otherwise, there are many smaller shops and supermarkets within easy reach.
